Could large files be removed from the history? #153

I'm wondering if you think that it would be a good idea to make the repo smaller by removing large files? I assume that there are many unnecessary files in the history, e.g. Axis files or multiple versions of the thesis pdf.

I have just reset the history of the master branch:)
