Using fastmail, mailto link forced me to login #7

The extension home page pointed to here for support. This feels more like a bug
report forum. I am not claiming there is a bug.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Setup mailto extension for fastmail, but use domain other than fastmail.fm.
I use justemail.net.
2. Login to fastmail.
3. Go to here
http://webdesign.about.com/od/beginningtutorials/a/aabegin100299.htm for simple
mailto test. Search for "testing mailto" and click it
4. Despite being logged in, clicking on "testing mailto" brings up login screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the Compose window screen in fastmail. Instead, i get the
login screen, despite already being logged in.

What version are you using? (go to chrome://extension/ to find this out)
13.0.782.220 m

What email service do you use? (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail)
Fastmail with justemail.net domain

Any other information I might need to know?

Hi,

Thanks for the message. I indeed use a bug report form for support too ;)
It works fine for me: when I use a non-fastmail.fm email address it goes to
there without any issues.
Could you please try if it does work when you go to the options page (of the
extension of course) and enter
"http://ssl.justemail.net/action/compose/?to={to}&cc={cc}&bcc={bcc}&subject={sub
ject}&body={body}"
as a custom email address?

Kind regards,
Famlam

I figured out my problem. Fastmail has several login options - regular (no
auto login) and long term (auto login). You have to login with 'long term'
option for mailto to work.

Previously I logged in with the regular option. When mailto brought up a new
fastmail session, the lack of autologin forced fastmail to put up the login
screen. As Homer Simpson would say, "DOH".

When I login with autologin, everything works.

Thanks...
