Current trunk will not asdoc using the Flex 4 asdoc binary

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Setup a basic asdoc routine and use the Flex 4 asdoc binary

Successful asdocing

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.1 on OS x 10.6.2

The error message I get follows:

[Fatal Error] toplevel.xml:572:2: The content of elements must consist of 
well-formed character data or markup.
Error: Could not create toplevel.xml: The content of elements must consist of 
well-formed character data or markup.
