multicolored icons? #29

How can you have multicolored icons? e.g. the star has two colors (not counting the background) and the pile of crap as multiple colors. How is this possible? I thought terminal characters had only a foreground and a background color.

Wait, for the star it seems like it's just my terminal's antialias related setting... but what's up with the pile of crap?

Hey guys, @trusktr and @orta I'm also having trouble getting the emoji icons. It appears only with an "x" inside a square... I do have the emoji font installed on my mac. Tested it on iTerm2 and Terminal.app both same error on both...

Any clues?
