Webif Update Form Errors When Checking For Update #132

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Info tab
2. Check "Include daily builds when checking for update to webif²"
3. Click "Check For Webif Update"

What is the expected output?
It should tell me if an update is available or not

What do you see instead?
Displays "ERROR CHECKING FOR UPDATE"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and web
browser?
OpenWrt Kamikaze - r14692
Webif² - r4714 
Device - ASUS WL-500g Premium V2
Browser - Firefox 3.1b3pre (nightly)
OS - Xubuntu Jaunty 9.04 x64 (nightly)

I leave "Include daily..." unchecked, but still see the same error...

The problem simply seems to be that there are no .version-stable files (or 
.version
files where "Include daily..." is checked) anywhere in the download tree. Nice.

7.09 will not be fixed, this option has been removed from 8.09.2 and trunk just 
the
update button remains as trunk will never have a official stable and the stable
branch should always be stable. No webif updates for 8.09 have been done. This 
option
is really a remnant from WR and thus removed.
