Accessing Router Login Page Produces 404 Error #136

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Latest Nightly
2. Go To Router Login Page

What is the expected output?
I should be at the webif info page.

What do you see instead?
I get a 404 Not Found error.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and web
browser?
OpenWrt Kamikaze - r14768
Webif² - unknown
Device - ASUS WL-500g Premium V2
Browser - Firefox 3.5b4pre (nightly)
OS - Xubuntu Jaunty 9.04 x64 (nightly)

Please provide any additional info below.
Since I can not access the info page I do not know what my current version
is. All I can say is I use the following nightly version
http://downloads.x-wrt.org/xwrt/kamikaze/snapshots/brcm-2.4/no_pppoe/ and
the build date for the file I used is 18-Mar-2009 09:07. If you can provide
me with how I can view the version info from SSH then I can provide it to
you as well. I was only able to get the OpenWRT version using 'uci show'
Thanks!

This issue is still occurring with new build from April 9th, I get a 404 error
at any
page I go to including the login page.

Still getting 404 error in build from April 15th

The error still occurs with build from 20-Apr-2009. Can anyone else confirm
this? The
router is essentially useless other than having to use SSH to configure it.
Problem
has persisted for 30 days, and no one has yet replied to this report.

Snapshot builds do not have webif^2 packages included.

Anyway all (not only 8.09) X-Wrt Kamikaze builds are broken. You would better
build
your own image using the buildroot if you want to test recent changes.
