I get 401 Unauthorized even by right username and password! #76

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. New installation of kamikaze r12350
2. Installed latest webif
3. try to connect to it !

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
logging in to webif is expected but it keeps asking for password and if i
cancel it gives 401 Unauthorized

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and web
browser? latest (for now 080821 EU 11:00 ) , Firefox , IE on windows and
linux gives the same
 problem.

Please provide any additional info below.

I'm seeing the same thing with OpenWrt trunk r12414 and x-wrt trunk.  The right 
user
name and password get me in with ssh, but not with http.  Also, if the password 
has
not yet been set, httpd still asks me for one, and gives me a 401 Unauthorized 
if I
close the window.

It is fixed now in the last openwrt rev. there is a workaround you can see in 
the
forum if you don't want to upgrade.
