So to be clear, what still needs to happen to wrap up the current phase is:
then I want to improve the website and add a good scoring mechanism, so that those who are overcoming the rune curses can show off their efforts.
Ideally I would have multiple branches, a trunk version that is quite unstable, and a stable version that others can play and not have to worry about major changes frequently happening. But I don't have near enough developer support to pull that off, so the next best thing is to develop in waves. Things have been very crazy with experience mode experimenting, stamina, adding new branches, and frequent adjustments to spell power, failure rate, etc. That's because we've been in the unstable part of the wave. We are now entering the stabilization part of the wave so I will push off other major changes to game mechanics until the next "unstable" wave, and instead focus on stabilizing what we have, cleaning up bugs, and making existing features work more smoothly. I will still discuss options for major features to be implemented in the next unstable wave, but won't develop them yet.
