Cleantemp #14

This removes the temporary files and prevents them from coming back in.

Although the pdf has been removed here, it belongs elsewhere (and is grossly outdated). Hopefully a periodically updated pdf at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22814023/cpp.pdf (my dropbox) will suffice for this.
