failure while trying to send page using chrome to phone extention, resulted in too many redirects #61

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.click on the google Chronme to phone Extention
2.i'm in Saudi arabia
3. it asks me to login from the following URL

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to have the link sent to my nexus oe having froyo

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
nexus one with froyo os, i've the apk needed for this

it work with me now, but it's giving me the following message "Error sending 
link: 
ERROR To remove this error message, please install latest extension from 
code.google.com/p/chrometophone OK" 
then it send the link, please investigate

Hey, salam. I'm in Saudi Arabia too. I tried it and it gave me the same error 
(too many 
redirects). How did it finally work with you? What did you do to make it work?
I know about the other error, but at least it is working...

I clicked too many times, also try to update ur 
extension and apk files, I don't have much advice, 
it works suddenly after reinstalling these two files, 
don't make sense but this is what's happened

@moamen, Thank you for your reply. I uninstalled chrome-to-phone from both the 
PC and 
the phone and installed them back and still getting the same error (Too many 
redirects).

What did you click "too many time" exactly? do you mean the sing in button for 
google 
after entering the password? or is something else?

Well, all of a sudden, it's working now. I have no idea how/why/what/when...

OK

That's the message received in the browser upon clicking the Send to Phone 
button in
the extension. The webpage I sent still opened on the mobile device though so 
the
functionality seems to be intact.
