I know this programme is written for the windows mobile/windows Xp but I
have successfully installed the JAVA version on my Nokia E71....But after
starting app I get permission error asking "Allow application GPS4Mobile to
read user data?" and I press "yes" and then it asks "Allow application
GPS4Mobile to read user data?" Agian I press "yes"...2-3 times these
questions are repeated and then I get online to internet but above
questions keep on being asked...I can see the "Red dot" on top left of
screen and I go to "GPS tab" and it keeps serching for settlite and same
questions are being asked agin....Any ideas if it can be fixed?????If yes
we can run this software on symbian devices also.....Hope to see any
advances in this context!..

To start you have to give the program permissions to read/write user data
without
asking. On my SE g502i it is possible. There's also an option to sign the jar
but I'm
afraid that we'll have to pay for some kind of certificate or signature.

Yes you are right...we do need code signing certificate,e.g, Verisign OR Thawte
but
yes they are expensive....Why can't you make your own personal certifcate and
host on
some website and ask the user to accept it..that will surely remove the cost..a
temporary solution I guess?.
