Low light not working on gpsvp 0.4.20 #128

What steps will reproduce the problem?

From Jole on the forum: "Installed release4-20 smartphone version and found
low light doest work as it should. the map goes black. Backlight is on,
softkey text ('context menu' and 'menu') are visible. Switch off low light
thru the menu and and the map is back fine. Reverted to 4-18, no issues.
Any clue?
Device: Imate Ultimate8502, WM6.1 Prof., QVGA, Qualcom 400Mhz.
Map: gmap and gtopo
Note: Device is a PPC but i use SP version because it supports
automatic light and auto bluetooth.

I can reproduce the problem on my HTC S710 (SP WM 6.0).

I confirm the same bahaviour on SGHi600 smartphone / WM5 / gpsvp 0.4.20.
After selecting | Menu | 5 Display | 9 Low light | the display goes black. 
Happily
the menu is still visible ;-))
