Establish a procedure to automatically handle Installers/Packaging for Linux (deb)

I've created a script to automatically generate a debian (*.deb) package in order to easily install Sammelbox under any Debian based Linux Distribution. (e.g. Ubuntu)

Although the script and the generated packages already work fairly well, some issues remain:

• No icon under Ubuntu -> for some reason, after installing the package, everything works but the program icon is not visible in the program bar. However, when searching for Sammelbox using the launcher, the Sammelbox icon appears
• There are some warnings during package generation
• Check how to generate 32 bit packages too
• The package name has a "-1" at the end. Why is this the case?
• It would be nice to include some screenshots in de package. These can be consulted before installation through the software centers available on the different distributions

After these issues have been resolved, the issue can be closed

If I remember correctly, (to be checked) there is lib-webkit that needs to be installed if you want to use the SWT browser. If so, this library should be linked as a dependency by the deb package.

The following issues remain:

• No icon in Launcher under Ubuntu
• Warnings during package generation
• Adapt Shell script which launches jar. Give Sammelbox enough memory!

Btw: Screenshots are not included with the package. This works via a separate service.

With 08c0257, some issues have been corrected. However:

• The icon problem might be Ubuntu related. Performing a logoff/login now seems to solve the issue.
• By running lintian sammelbox_1.0_amd the archive can be inspected to highlight possible issues
• The shell script should not need any adaptations as the default Java VM gives enough memory

Finally closed! Hope this works for everyone. Probably needs some testing but already works quite well for me.. :smiley:
