The following logging aspects should be adapted:

the debug log file serves no purpose and should be removed
the log file should be renamed from collector-error.log to sammelbox.log
the log file should contain the date and not only the time
the log file should be placed inside the home directory (i.e. .sammelbox) and not next to the executable

I reassigned this ticket to myself since it is currently blocking the my tests for #123

The default logging level is now set to be "INFO". (The jdbc logger is however fixed to a warning level)

In the future, a RollingFileAppender could be used to avoid having one giant log file after long usage (http://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/appenders.html#RollingFileAppender)
