Working on Android Companion App

The following list is used to keep track of the progress on the Sammelbox-Android companion app.

IMPLEMENTED

• Basic Interface :ok:
• Connecting and quering a 'sammelbox.db' database generated by Sammelbox-Desktop :ok:
• Listing and Browsing Album Items* :ok:
• Rudimentary search functionality :ok:

TODO

• Synchronization (in order to avoid to manually copying the database and thumbnails to the external storage) This has already been tested using jeromewagener/Soutils and should work without problems.
• Advanced Search features similar to the desktop version
• Show all pictures after selecting an album item
• A small help with a link to sammelbox website
• Support for saved searches
• Better database connection handling
• Some code is very similar between the Android and Desktop application. It should be possible to easily share such code fragments between both versions.
• Internationalization

I have created an own repository for the Android companion app to separate the projects. This has various advantages related to the development. Tickets for the remaining issues will be managed on the other repository.
