I have tried countles times to connect gear S2 to my HA insuccessfuly, both in old login mode and with long lived tokens. I tried https://local.IP.address:port - Error 0 https://dns.domain - Error 0 https://dns.domain:443 - Error 0 Tried eliminating https:// - Error 0 I use HA on 5 phones, 2 tableta and PCs Just fine, both with user/ password and legacy mode. My HA is 0.102.3 in virtualenv. Watch is Gear S2 (C7FB) SM-R732. Thanks for your time to maintain this app, this is what makes HomeAssistant awesome, its users that contribte.

I have the same problem I am running it on active watch 2

aelg305 commented 4 years ago

ditto! :(

onecib commented 3 years ago

try adding a / after your HA Url example : http://my-ha-url:1234/ instead of http://my-ha-url:1234

willtree8 commented 3 years ago

Anybody find a solution to this? Have tried all of the above including adding a / to the end of my URL. Using an S2 if that makes any difference.

It still does not work for me, would be really nice if it did though.

Is there anyone that has GW S2 that has a working app

News??

Same problem here

mkmelektro commented 3 years ago

I have tried it on mint installation of HA and it works on my watch. I think it's not the apps fault, but something in our config is bad, I can't do it at the moment but I'll investigate it further later.

Having the same issue. I use a non standard port. But that should not affect it

Same issue here, any news on the fix?

I solved the problem! After sending the token + link, a message appears on the smartwatch with two blue buttons at the bottom, one that says "deny" and one "allow", you must clearly press "allow"; but if you accidentally touch anything else that message will disappear, so you have to be quick and press on the right to accept, otherwise you will have to uninstall and reinstall the application and repeat the procedure. Then it will work!

Hello, I've tried it many times... There is no message that appears after sending the token and the URL ... any tips?

Anyone succeeded to make this work on a galaxy gear s2? ...I think it might have something to do with trusting the server certificate ... maybe
