Currently, running Voice-Desktop-1.2.8-Ubuntu.AppImage (on Ubuntu 21.10/Xorg), the dock shows the application's icon, I assume based on 64px-Google_Voice_icon_(2020).png. However, right-clicking the running app icon in the dock, the 'Add to Favorites' option is not present. Additionally, the app cannot be discovered using dash search.
By generating/installing a voice-desktop-app.desktop file and associated icon file, dash search as well as 'Add to Favorites' works as do other/native apps:
