Saving preferences not working #155

There are a few bugs on the Settings pane:

  1. The "Close" button is not working. The escape key works to exit the pane.
  2. When I click any of the four "Options" checkboxes, the result is not saved and does not take effect. (Note: changing the Theme does take effect immediately before the pane is even closed, and is saved).

Can you please assist? Thank you in advance.

I'm particularly interested in using the "Start application automatically at logon" and "Start application minimized to tray" options, especially if this will hide the dock icon and leave the app solely in the menu bar.
