Are you using the latest release of monthly budget report - 2205? If so, in the edit budget report parameters is "Use Category Currency" checked or unchecked? It should be unchecked if you want to use the base currency. What version of Moneydance are you on and what OS?

I am using monthly budget report 2202.I tried downloading 2205 but not able to update to 2205.i am using v2205 of the monthly budget editor. Pls advice

1 year ago Ok, so that's likely the issue. currencies weren't correctly supported until v2205 so what we need to do first is figure out why you can't update the Budget Report extension. You should be able to download the .mxt file for the latest release from github. Then go to Manage Extensions and select Add From File to load the file you just downloaded. What happens when you do that? Why doesn't it update?

I did exactly as u said and still the same result. Screenshot of the extension page which still shows the version as 2202. Pls advice

1 year ago Fantastic, sorry you had problems! Is there anything I need to add to the instructions about updating versions so it is more clear?

The problem was that the original download of version 2022 had to be deleted from the download folder then only the new version to be downloaded. I was just downloading the new version without doing this and when I used the install from file of Md it just installed the old version. Once the old version was deleted from the folder the correct version was installed. Tks for ur help

1 year ago Closed, using wrong version.
Hi while using the Monthly Budget editor the currency shown is the base currency which in my MD is set as INR indian rupees. but the monthly budget report shows the currency as AED . How do I get both the report in the same currency.
