Can't complete installation; stalls on "Destination Select" screen

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Double-click git-1.8.2.2-intel-universal-snow-leopard.dmg package
2. Click Continue button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

After the above two steps, you see the "Select a Destination" panel. The 
"Install for all users of this computer" destination is highlighted in blue.

The expected output is that the Continue button is active.

Instead, the Continue button is grayed out and cannot be clicked, meaning that 
the installation cannot proceed. The Go Back button *is* active and functioning 
as expected.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Using Mac OS X 10.8.2 and git-1.8.2.2-intel-universal-snow-leopard.dmg 
installer.

Please provide any additional information below.

Same problem occurs with 1.8.2.1 version.

Also, I have installed the XCode command-line tools for XCode 4.6.1, and 
neither the iPhone Emulator nor any other part of XCode is running.

You need to wait for a while and then it will unlock the continue button !
