Why is this suddenly Wontfix?

redkillersuicide added this task for himself but he somehow left the project a
while ago. So atm I am working on RCB alone again and have not enough resources
to look into this.

As another database engine would not really fix any bugs or add any new
features I decided to close this topic.

To say it would "not add any new features" is completely wrong - it would
enable people to have a central database of games across their network, so they
could play all the games they have on all the XBMC devices they have, without
having to do a scan on each one, and without the individual sqllite databases
going out of sync.

This would be a huge improvement.

As XBMC is apparently moving towards this kind of a model for all plugins,
marking this as Wontfix is a huge step backwards, in my opinion.

Ok, that may be a valid point. But in my oppinion there are still too much
bigger issues that I want to work on before I even think of evaluating this
one. I don't need this feature myself and until now there is not much interest
in this feature. Just search the 4000 posts in the XBMC forum thread and you
will get no results.

WontFix does not mean that this will never happen. I am just cleaning up this
issue list and wanted to close all issues that are not on my radar for the next
months. Unfortunately there are not much more options than WontFix, Invalid or
Duplicate.

Anyway, patches are welcome.
