In OS X 10.6.4, under the preferences dialog I cannot assign any new keyboard shortcuts. Whatever shortcut combination is entered results in an Alert window that doesn't show any other text.
Have not been able to replicate this behaviour on another system so I'm unable to determine the source of this bug.
