I use MacVim and I wanted the ability to tell MacVim what filetype to use so I would get Syntax Highlighting and settings and so forth. Anyways, this patch adds a little bit more configuration that allows you to set different extensions for different programs. Thus I can now have Safari mapped to the .md extension so I get markdown abbreviations and such.
