[BUG] Breaks with the latest dnd5e version #37

Open maxobremer opened 3 months ago

maxobremer commented 3 months ago

Some changes were made with version 3.3.0 of DnD5e and that causes your sheet to be unable to be opened with this module image

Foundry: 12.328 DnD5e: 3.3.0 Custom Character Sheet Section: 2.2.0

only other module is libWrapper

LgocialHorus commented 3 months ago

I experience the same issue.

Kharmans commented 3 months ago

I have the same with dnd5e v3.3.1 image

Zanderaf commented 3 months ago

same here, just lib & CCSS installed and it errors out hard

KyaWither commented 2 months ago

Same issue here as well. Updated to the latest 5e version and module version and could not open the character sheets anymore

Zanderaf commented 2 months ago

Its 100% gonna break again in 4.0 again, with all the changes coming too.

I'll see what I can do in my spare time, but I believe tidy5e has a similar feature built-in if that would help.

It has, but only on Tidy Sheet, not extended to Core Sheet.

Zanderaf commented 2 months ago

Yea, it helps for NPCs and stuff but the core sheets are always a bit more attractive right now to use for me personally.

D&D 5e v4.04, FVTT 12.331, Custom Char Sheet Sections v2.1.0

The Foundry Module list says this is verified for v12. The "Read Notes" as well as the Project URL says compatible with TidySheets, it does not say TidySheets is required.

It's definitely not compatible with the latest Foundry and D&D versions. My players love the new sheets and miss the ability to customize the sections. Alas, with just this module (and libWrapper) this won't even let the character sheets open without the errors in the original post.

If this module now requires Tidysheets, it should detect and make sure it's installed and active. And say that it is dependent on it on the Project URL pages as well as the Foundry Add-On Modules page.

Tidy Sheets has it own version of CCSS afaik, but yea, this module is broken in the most recent versions. Its a damn shame too, loved using it for organizing features like Invocations and battlemaster moves.
