50 Points Can triggers in Avention be emailed to clients Open In iSELL, clients could have triggers emailed to themselves but this does not appear to be available in Avention. You can get e-mail notifications on triggers and smart lists but our alerting capabilities are still not flexible enough. Right now you will only be able to get mails on all triggers (you can specify trigger type) and smartlists whereas you need to be able to specify specific companies and specific lists for mailings - in addition when you have lots of content in daily and weekly alerts we send a random digest with selected content which is hard to really understand in the format we send it. In iSell there is an as it happens option for transactional updates which again provides more flexibility and customisation in the alerting capability. I think this is a huge topic and in the UK we feel more intense competition from Artesian solutions who specialise in alerting and monitoring capabilities. Another dimension to this is that I get lots of feedback from customers now where salespeople do not actually want to or have time to use desktop products, they simply want to consume relevant updates on their clients and prospects - they do not want to be educated on functionality. The analogy here is grocery delivery services - people no longer have time to go shopping and spend an hour in the store, they just want the groceries they ordered online delivered to their doorstep or in this case their smartphones.

Apologies for filing this. It was an internal misunderstanding. What I meant to say is that in iSELL you could click on a trigger and email it to someone. Apparently this is not possible in Avention. Like Add Your Comment Comment
