120 Points Change the ordering of Location - City/State/Country filters Open When searching on the Location settings and specifically City/State/Country, the Countries always appear as the last grouping of suggestions - they should be the first. For example, searching on France will result in 6 Cities appearing that all have France in the name appearing above the Country France. Please can we have Countries appearing as the first set of results in the list. Bizarely there is a City called United States which appears above the Country United States, I have seen users select the wrong one which results in their seach failing. 1 Comment » Posted by AJose to Avention on 1/15/2015 8:37 AM Hide Section - Additional InformationAdditional Information Which customer(s) made this suggestion? na What customer impact would this have? Just as an aside to this idea, state is not a universal global entity as country and city are. I like combining search fields so we do not have too much clutter and too many options but arguably state should not be included and be separate. Perhaps state should be included in the next option with the right hierachy e.g. state, county, metro area which is US specific. Also arguably the location fields should be selectable, as with all other categories, rather than all being there by default. Like Add Your Comment Comment

UX comment:

Agreed — least granular location type should fall at the top, with most granular/more numerous options falling at the bottom.

Note Steve Wilmott's suggestion to separate state into a grouping of: state/county/metro area rather than country/state/city. Would that result in a lone "country" field, then group "state/county/metro", then lone "city"? Check with a PM and source if needed/have PM ask them.
