https://na4.salesforce.com/ideas/viewIdea.apexp?id=08760000000GyXU 110 Points Peer analysis enhancements Open Peer and comparative analysis is key to more specialised financial services applications e.g. deal origination and support in capital markets and structured finance. Currently peer analysis just gives you all companies in the same Avention industry, so users have to use the search filters just as they effectively would in advanced search (only with industry pre specified). For peer analysis it would help if there were also options to generate a peer list against (closest x number of peers by key financials ie. certainly at least sales and pre-tax profit/EBITDA). Another way of doing this would of course be to include a rank operator in the search filters. I think the Browser functionality which allows batch reporting of financials, income statement and balance sheet is also very useful for these applications and comparative analysis.

Additional Information Which customer(s) made this suggestion? Handelsbanken What customer impact would this have? make peer and comps model analysis much easier and more flexible.

UX comment: GBB: "Peer Analysis" report Avention: "Closest Industry Peers" report

Like all canned reports, this needs a better approach than opening wide the advanced search experience in a detail page setting. Confusing to potentially expose all filters; better to present a controlled, relevant subset as in GBB.

If this becomes a priority, do a deeper audit of Av vs GBB and confer w/ PMs re: applicable data as needed (vs what may be accessible in Av canned report).
