Support importing mkv files: Use ffmpeg to extract raw elementary streams when necessary to import #2

Would love if the tool could import mkv files directly. Would make a perfect tool to convert .mkv to .mp4 while keeping DV.

This is definitely something that could be achieved. I'll try to work on this for you in the next couple of days.

I am working on this. I'm re working the code base for the entire tool among other things. So it'll be a little while longer. However, this is my focus now.
