Don't seem to show the addon after installation. Installed it multiple times but didn't solve the issue. I have blender 3.4.1 installed

rajq123 commented 1 year ago

gundeep commented 1 year ago

alperton commented 1 year ago

yeap I also have the same problem, not showing up in the list.

jesterKing commented 1 year ago

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem yet :/

By any chance, are you trying to install the ZIP file from the repository? image

I had the same issue for my Windows install. First threw error. Fixed it by first unselecting overwrite during install. Then the Add-on was not visible. By installing a second time with overwrite enabled, it worked.

Just in case it is unclear to users, download the correct ZIP archive from https://github.com/jesterKing/import_3dm/releases

Thank you for the plugin; it's amazing and significantly speeds up the workflow between Rhino and Blender. I encountered the same issue but resolved it by installing only the 'import_3dm' folder and manually moving the modules to the Blender directory.

Pre-Blender 4.0 installation looks like this:

The restart of Blender is necessary (as mentioned in the notes for v0.0.10, the current latest release).
