I was able to import the test unit conversion blocks. I imported various 3DM files with very mixed results, which may be related to the Rhino rendering requirements for Blender. I'm flying blind without examples of what a good 3DM import should be and how a bad (not rendered) import should behave. I found some Rhino 3DM example files: https://www.rhino3d.com/plugins/bongo/docs/sample-models/ Clock.3DM does not import. A couple of the files are missing. I don't know why the depicted animations did not import (probably provided as on site dazzle, not part of the model) .

Third-party plug-in data is not supported. Bongo is essentially a third-party plug-in, and as such that animation data is not imported.
