Multidevice tweaks #3

Hi @jethrocarr, Thanks for making this, its made my life way easier ;)

I've got some small tweaks to make this work a little nicer with more than one device, and ones that support more fan modes. Thought I'd actually commit these, just in case anyone else is after anything similar.
