Hate to open up yet another PR but I went to bed not having double-checked my work and realized I forgot a couple of things. Sorry! And thanks for merging my previous PR.

The keybindings are unfortunately not all compatible -- C-f is bound, which is readline's next-char, which I actually use a lot. Changing it again would break functionality for many users though :/
