The entire Manual Testing section, which is a requirement for the DG, is missing. Every single missing feature that is not provided is essentially a bug.

Team's Response

This is a duplicate issue as they are both about manual testing being missing.

The 'Original' Bug

[The team marked this bug as a duplicate of the following bug]

DG is missing instructions for manual testing

Note from the teaching team: This bug was reported during the Part II (Evaluating Documents) stage of the PE. You may reject this bug if it is not related to the quality of documentation.

This prevents readers from being able to test the app easily.

Their Response to the 'Original' Bug

[This is the team's response to the above 'original' bug]

[Severity inaccurate] According to the module website, "only problems that make the product almost unusable for most readers should have this label (severity.High)". Testing can still be done without an explicit guide, so it causes some inconvenience to some readers but they can continue to use the product. This falls under the category: severity.Medium.

Items for the Tester to Verify

 Issue duplicate status

Team chose to mark this issue as a duplicate of another issue (as explained in the Team's response above)

Reason for disagreement: [replace this with your explanation]

 Issue severity

Team chose [severity.Medium] Originally [severity.High]

Reason for disagreement: image.png

A reader trying to test a specific feature will be inconvenienced by the fact that there are no instructions provided at all and they have to come up with their own test cases. This alone can be classified as severity.Medium.

However, based on your User Guide, they are 21 features that are user-testable, including commands with variations. The fact is that your team is required to cover them all (even the ones inherited from AB3 because your team made some changes to them), but none were covered. The combination of them all is what warrants a severity.High.
