Looks like my force push closed this, but that was a one-time thing to get the development history on github. If you're interested in resubmitting this I'll take a look at it. I'm not especially interested in giving up a ton of the front page for a specific package manager, but I would support a dedicated doc file for various install methods. It could use your brew content as a starting point and then be fleshed out.
