I was able to get the latest .ipa build to install by modidying the
"minimum version" string within the .ipa
I used this tool to modify the .plist file
http://www.softsea.com/review/plist-Editor.html
use winrar to view the contents of the ipa, then enter folder:
payload -> iTransmission.app->info.plist
edit and replace the old plist file.
then install with ifunbox

@master no need for snark....I was just asking for it to be built into the ipa
w/o need for additional editing

@master and on top of that, the previously mentioned work-around (mind you,
it's a work-around, not a compatible fix) only works for windows.

Why doesnt somebody host an editted ipa file on mediafire or something. Its
open source remember, free to modify and distribute. Atleast thats what i think
the GNU GPL v3 states.

Oh and i strongly suggest using iFile. Its hassel free and lets you browse as
well as edit/cut/copy/paste any file on your iDevice. It comes in handy if
you'd like a downloaded video file to be transferred to some app's documents
so that you could watch it on your device without the need for ever connecting
it to your PC/Mac

If you're running 4.2.6, you should upgrade. There's a GREAT command-line
tweak/tool in the iHacksRepo called Custom Built Backup; it will back up ALL
your Cydia tweaks and whatnot into an .ipa file, that you simply sync to your
iPhone after you do a firmware restore.
