Allow default system notification to remain enabled #421

My reason for using this app is its excellent reminder capability. However I 
like the default system notification that appears on the lock screen, so I put 
up with the minor inconvenience of getting two initial notifications for each 
message.

The app should check if system notification is enabled and not perform the 
additional notification on initial receipt of the message. If that is not 
possible, then there should be a configuration option to control this.
