request is in with LINZ for new tide data, their decision to correct the stuff they have on their website for daylight savings makes that too dificult to use. Got an out of office reply, they'll be back Tuesday.
New version with tide data till end 2020 is now in "packages" directory as well as on app store.
Would you be able to tag a release so fdroid gets the new version too? Cheers
Hmm, I see you have tagged a release, but the newer version has not made it to F-Droid yet: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.palliser.nztides/
Looking at this page: https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/blob/master/metadata/com.palliser.nztides.txt
The line "Auto Update Mode:None" may be important.
I'll open an issue on their tracker,
I got a response from fdroid:
https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/issues/1487#note_128258928
Would you be able to tag this and future releases, jevon, as well as updating androidmanifest.xml?
I have tagged version 12 as "v12"

Hi @jevonlongdell
F-Droid contributor here. Please keep the scheme for the name of your future releases like the one you're using currently. Next version should be v13
. Everything should be ok on our side :)
Success! I got the latest version from fdroid yesterday morning, cheers.

Perhaps a new release? The tide data is only until December 31st.
As an alternative, would it be useful in future, instead of updating the whole app, to merely download new data as it becomes available? That way we are not reliant on the availability of one person.
