I tend to use Chorus viewed on my laptop and instead of mousing around just use the arrow keys and return on the laptop itself to navigate, essentially using Chorus as a way to pass through keyboard commands.
Chorus' keyboard pass through functionality seems to be pretty basic though, limited to menu nav via arrow keys and return to start/stop.

It'd be great if more (if not ALL!) key presses were passed through, as though they were pressed on the hosting machine : http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Keyboard_controls
Specifically the one I miss the most is skip back/forward 30 seconds and volume control.
Oddly does seem to work, though it skips right back to the start of the video rather than just 30 secs.
