You should probably suppress this.

Last I checked this was an issue with xbmc http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=68263&pid=1629471#pid1629471 The api doesn't really have any control over dialogs, the best it can do (in the case of text inputs), is send some text - which closes the dialog
