Error in Homebridge Log - Warning Characteristic #189

I am seeing the following error in the Homebridge log. Wyze devices do seem to be running well.

This plugin generated a warning from the characteristic 'On': characteristic value expected boolean and received undefined. See https://homebridge.io/w/JtMGR for more info.

I have tried created a child bridge, and it did not solve the problem.

Update: the Wyze devices are super slow, laggy, and sometimes unresponsive.
