The Filipino turo-turo menu focuses on desserts, baked goods, and light meryenda snacks alongside our single-origin Asian-Pacific coffee program. At night, we transition into a cocktail bar offering pulutan - Filipino bar food. Hood Famous is located in the historic Publix Building in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. Originally built for migrant workers, the Publix was home for many Filipino cannery workers and farm laborers. There is a rich history of the Filipino community’s presence in Seattle’s historic Chinatown International District, known to some as Filipino Town. Since opening our Cafe and Bar in 2019, we reclaim and contribute to this history through our cuisine, Filipino style hospitality, storytelling, and outright visibility.’
