From their website, ‘In 2015, the idea to open a cafe-inspired spin-off of Goddess and the Grocer was born out of our love for good coffee, good baked goods, and great food. We set out to create a warm and inviting meeting place where guests could enjoy a good coffee, breakfast, sandwich (or salad), and dessert then leave with a smile on their face. The first Goddess and the Baker opened in the spring of 2015 in the hip Wabash Corridor near Millennium Park and was quickly a hit and has been growing ever since with several locations throughout Chicago and in Brookfield, WI.’ From the Chicago EAter website, ‘All locations of coffee shop and bakery Goddess and the Baker celebrate pride all month long with multicolored menus. A portion of proceeds will go to Center on Halsted.’ Sara and Tony ordered standard breakfast items. They said it’s a great place for pastry. NOTE: They have multiple locations.
