The first suggestion is that you'd have suitable hardware for a telephony device if you added the TRRS port (from v8) to the v5 (or really anything that has a USB input as well). My idea is that the keyboard could be programmed to send telephony button presses (like your "Mute" button for Google Meets), and the TRRS port could act as an autio device.
The second idea is that maybe you're at the point where the naming convention needs to expand. My suggestions would be:
Current
Suggested
Output
Input
v1
HRM-1C-1A
1 USB C
1 USB A
v2
HRM-1S-1S
1 USB, Soldered
1 USB, Soldered
v3
HRM-1A-1A
1 USB A
1 USB A
v4
HRM-1C-1A8B
1 USB C
1 USB A, 8 buttons
v5
HRM-1C-4A
1 USB C
4 USB A
v6
HRM-1C-4A18B
1 USB C
4 USB A, 18 Buttons
v7
HRM-1C-4A4N10B
1 USB C
4 Analogue, 10 buttons
v8
HRM-1C-1Ta
1 USB C
1 TRRS analogue
HRM stands for HID remapper.
I thought that the naming convention I suggested, while a little more verbose, was also more semantically useful, since the IDs tell you what ports the device has. The one I'm least sure about is my suggestion for the v8.
Hi!
I have suggestions for your custom boards.

Anyway, hope this helps.
