IE8 and IE7 - Digits disappear and sometimes countdown is wrong #10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just view the demo page with IE8 or 7

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect to see a normal countdown but instead I get a timer
with missing digits and random countdown times.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The version from the demo page with IE fixes by 
Andrea Cardinale <a.cardinale@webandtech.it> [23 September 2009]

Please provide any additional information below.

I have fixed this bug by changing all the "$." to "jQuery." and "$(" to 
"jQuery(". I will also say that I am using jquery 1.4.2 minified.

I have attached the fixed file to this report.

I have fixed the problem. Now it works correctly in Chrome. Regards!!!
