Wanda Díaz-Merced (blind astronomer) and sonification #13

By chance I came across Wanda Díaz-Merced who lost her sight in her early 20s. She says that sonification of astronomical data can bring discoveries that other techniques miss.

Perhaps the material below could improve wikipedia pages, or provide resources for an interesting article. Doing either would be sufficient to close this issue.

Here are some links, in rough order of importance, for the issue.

Somewhat related is tapping train wheels with a hammer. A cracked wheel won't "ring true". Often, a rough sound from machinery indicates there's a problem.
