Mac compatibility #1

It would be nice to be able to compile on Mac.

QT has released a new version. I need to see if the compatibility with MAC has been fixed. Also, as a workaround I could disable the GUI when compiling in MAC, at least the console version would work until I fix the compatibility issue of QT in MAC.

That is a decent workaround actually. Still hoping on the new QT version though! :-)

The introduction of Qt5 and a new method to visualize the trees in the GUI has solved this issue.
