Separating notes from license extracts? #5

Currently the license extract and any notes added by the contributor are held in the same JSON property .license. I'm thinking it would be good to split these into separate fields so they can be styled differently, making it clear what's the legal stuff and what's commentary on it.

This has been brought to mind because I've contacted foundries on the "No" list to ask if I can subset their fonts, and a couple have emailed back saying "Yes no problem" which goes against their license terms. "Email this foundry and ask" would be useful information to add to the site, but only alongside the license info.

@jfrankl what do you think? I have given little thought to how it would display, beyond thinking that either the license or notes would probably need to be italicised, and to display the notes directly below the license extract.

Interesting idea. It's important to me that the website only includes publicly available information. Ideally we are pointing to a license, but an FAQ or even a Tweet will work.

I'm concerned about referencing emails or other private correspondence, because that can be more of an exception than a policy, plus I want to encourage foundries to be public about their support. But maybe we could add a note in the FAQ that it's worth reaching out to a foundry to see if they'll make an exception.
