Merge from develop to master #118

Description of Change

This should be the correct PR to merge develop into master. I hope.

I compared all my changes for multi-targeting and your latest changes to README.md and master should now match develop. I don't know about deleting the develop branch; I don't know what happens then.

Issues Resolved

fixes #117

Platforms Affected

None; only a build related merge.
