W3C Test 8.1.11.c fails Selenium, passes manual inspection #490

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Test 8.1.11.c fails the Selenium test in IE7 as well as FF3, but the
xf:select1 test seems to pass manual inspection.

Seems the driver page needs to be improved.

As MarkB reminds on IRC, this issue relates to behavior in XHTML mode,
which is how we have the W3C test suite checked into SVN. This may not be
an issue in HTML mode (vague since I'm adding this comment as a bulk edit
across multiple issues). The manual results files actually reflect HTML
mode behavior.

Related to issue 498. Has to do with the behaviour of the select output / input
field. Clarifying with John this afternoon. Will update accordingly.

This is a bit late but from what I re-call this issue has to do with the test
and the
implementation of the select1. Since the full attribute is the issue. We do not
fill in
an input field for the full attribute and only for the minimal so the test
needs to be
changed.
