Copyright symbols back in some Ubiquity source files #520

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Copyright symbols (found in the header section of some Ubiquity .js files)
break the creation of rollups due to a limitation in the Microsoft Scripting
Engine runtime. A while ago these were all purged; some have reappeared (such
as in ubiquity-backplane/dom/dom3ls.js).

Please replace these with "(C)" (or "(c)") and perhaps encourage team members
to not use the symbol.

Just spotted this issue and thought I'd comment since we have two buildbot
slaves
that are currently successfully generating the rollup from trunk [1].

I appreciate that this is of no direct use to you, but I thought it may be of
interest in case it helps you find a solution to the problem in Windows Script
Host
itself.

FWIW, our two slaves are running WSH versions 5.6 on (Windows 2000) and 5.7 (on
Vista).
